Spotted in China:
Here is a bootleg coloring/sticker book out of China. The usual casualĀ misspellingĀ of the name Spongebob (as Spongedob) is there, but the interesting thing is that they incorporated minor characters from Finding Nemo:
Bootlegged DVD’s of Western movies are often dubbed and then subtitled back into English Engrish. Above is a hilarious example.
It says a lot that a Korean brand is bootlegged in China.
The Skerpie packaging is so eerily close to the Sharpie packaging, that it leads me to believe that they were made in the same factory…
