Baby Piss

This is a photo of a container of baby wipes found in Brazil. I can’t help but wonder the origins of the name – does ‘baby piss’ mean something else in Portuguese?

I had a whole bottle of wipes, but my baby pissed them away!
According to google translator, it’s the same.
My only guess is that the tradition there is for cleaning products to be named after what they clean. i guess.
No such word in portuguese language… It means what it really seems to…
I am from Brazil, and no, it doesn’t mean anything but what it really seems. The equivalent to “made in China” in South America is “made in Paraguay”, and they also produce some very interesting samples of Engrish…
http://www.babypiss.com.br XD lol its a baby diaper brand…
@M it’s hardly made in paraguay, it was created in Santa Catarina XD
That baby looks like he’s pulling the classic “I’m in the process of relieving myself,” face.
Interesting enough, the top of the package says “lenços umedecidos”, which actually means “wet napkins”. Are you sure it’s a diapers’ pack? Because, if not, then I have a bet on what they use to wet those things…

I’m from Brazil and I can assure you there is no tradition of naming products after what they clean. The tradition here is more about using english terms to name products. They probably thought it sounded nice and used the term without knowing its real meaning.
