Juxtaposition Found Only in Japan

This photo was submitted as Engrish, but I am not so sure. It is certainly bizarre enough to qualify as interesting at the very least!

Awesome. Just pure awesome.
Adds a new meaning to the words “Information Hall of Meat”.
My caption:
“It took her 4 hours to put that on. It took him 4 minutes.”
I don’t know, something bothers me about that maiko. She looks at least 45 years old (shouldn’t she have been geiko at that age?), and her obi is kind of ruffled. Maybe the juxtaposition is just a result of a fake maiko hanging out where maiko usually don’t?
Awesome picture… Although I don’t want to rain on your parade she’s not a real “maiko” but a tourist dressed like one.
The picture is taken ver close to the Yasaka Jinja pagoda, on the very street where you can rent the kimono.
You can see this kind of scenes quite often here in Kyoto.
thats information that I would probably be better off not knowing….
