Too bad I don’t have a Facebook page and never in my live intent to get one either. Nor a Twitter account or a Myspace one for that matter. I’d rather have flesh and blood friends, that I can see, shake hands with and go out with, than a bunch of pictures on a page.
Thanks for letting me know. I bask in the aura of your exclusivity.
Guess you are pretty much missing the point of Facebook, but I don’t blame you…
Facebook actually has a point?
Heavens!
Yeah, come on.. Be part of the facebook crowd.
It’s all about marketing!
Friends!? Sod them..
It’s just all about ranking your site higher than others.
Like Digg.
No social elements, nothing about interacting.
Just “Pick me, Pick me” and making sure everyone knows about your site.
facebook has many points. most of them are useless and irrelevant yes, but i do enjoy keeping in touch with my flesh and blood friends. both the good friends that i simply can’t always be with in the flesh, and the casual acquaintances that i wouldn’t normally have much, if any, interaction with otherwise.
and maybe i’m using the site wrong, but i am almost never exposed to the part of facebook that pushes websites, the ‘pick me’ part. i did make an exception for engrish though…
