It does beg the question: if one is bootlegging a video with an English soundtrack, why bother adding a guessed-at english subtitle track?

  2. 10:11 am Karen H says:

I have often thought the same thing! Why subtitle an English movie IN ENGLISH!??

That being said, I hope it never stops. The world needs as many giggles as it can get these days.

B: Well, I STiLL think the NO!

Such crappy subtitles is the result of ” We drink is the best whisky”

  6. 2:36 pm bio girl says:

    “The captian likes the seaman”
    “DO NOT WANT”

Isn’t it ironic that pirates are being pirated? Now THAT’S Communism at its finest.

  8. 12:03 am DanT says:

“The captain likes the seaman” - wasn’t that from “buttpirates of the carribean” (not that I would know anything about that)?

    This is the blah!

  9. 8:48 am Ben says:

they should definitely take advise from this in the 4th Pirates movie and have a drunken Jack try to pull himself together for a coherent sentence, resulting in “I think the yeah”

  10. 1:55 pm Alcy says:

The subtitles are most likely intended as closed captioning for people who have hearing difficulties or can’t have the sound on (I do this a lot)…though I suppose someone might also use them if they’re watching it with a friend who speaks a different native language and has the other audio on. Bootleg subtitles are pretty laughable, though. Don’t support organized crime!

Taiwan is a democracy. For that, I will assume you are American.

    It is the yeah

    Taiwan is democracy.
    Nice try, smart guy.

I hope they also bootlegged the movie 300 coz the subtitle will surely fit in.

    Leonidas: “THIS IS THE BLAH!!”

Guys,I’m not American, and I wasn’t trying to be racist. I used the Communist term because I thought that the bootlegged disc originally came from China and found its way to Taiwan, and since China is mainly Communist(or used to be, at least) I couldn’t help but say that. Do not think that I am trying to be racist, and do not think that even though I may captain a football(soccer to you Americans)team, I definitely DO NOT like the seaman :)

And I always thought D.S. was lying!

“The capitain likes the seamen” hah I see their version coming!
