They don’t say anything about knifes, or bombs. :)

I was told to notify you about, BLAM!

This sign is standard at most airport check-in desks. You’re allowed to transport firearms if they are in your checked baggage. You also must notify airline staff when you check your baggage. So I dunno if there’s anything Engrishy about this.

There are procedures for passengers to check firearms in baggage on flights. This is nothing new.

    “I have a gum.”

they have the exact same sign at the airport in burlington, vermont and i’m sure plenty of other places. except that in burlington the sentence is grammatically correct :)

Given that the notice has a singular address and not a plural, I get the impression that they might be *expecting* someone! :)

American passenger: Where would you suggest I stick this rifle?
English customs official: Preferably right up Gordon Brown’s ass! :p

I saw one at a Thai airport asking people to remove bullets from their handguns before boarding the flight.

I’ve gotta get out of here, they’re on to me!
