They don’t say anything about knifes, or bombs.
I was told to notify you about, BLAM!
This sign is standard at most airport check-in desks. You’re allowed to transport firearms if they are in your checked baggage. You also must notify airline staff when you check your baggage. So I dunno if there’s anything Engrishy about this.
There are procedures for passengers to check firearms in baggage on flights. This is nothing new.
“I have a gum.”
they have the exact same sign at the airport in burlington, vermont and i’m sure plenty of other places. except that in burlington the sentence is grammatically correct
Given that the notice has a singular address and not a plural, I get the impression that they might be *expecting* someone!
American passenger: Where would you suggest I stick this rifle?
English customs official: Preferably right up Gordon Brown’s ass! :p
I saw one at a Thai airport asking people to remove bullets from their handguns before boarding the flight.
I’ve gotta get out of here, they’re on to me!
