This sign was found in a hotel room and Lakeside Inn, Jinan, China. I can’t really figure out what it is supposed to signify…

This looks like it isn’t saying whether or not defecating and urinating is acceptable or not. In fact, this seems to promote it. That’s pretty bizarre…..
Obviously it means: No peeing on dry land and no pooing in the water.
When the world is being engulfed by a comet, go ahead and excrete where you want to
Are clothes optional too?
“Hello, Lakeside Inn?
I’ve had a change of plans, I need to cancel my reservation.”

This WOULD make a great greating card.
“I don’t swim in your toilet, so don’t pee in my pool.”
only hide your feet when you pee
My Chinese-speaking colleague says the sign merely says “Lakeside Inn” making the sign all the weirder.
It menas: “Please leave off after p*ssing or sh*tting”
I’m clueless, but I just like to look at signs that show cartoon people excreting.
I think it says: “That is what you look like after eating our food and enjoying our service!”
Obviously it’s telling you to interact with nature.
I’ll bet something like “No peeing or defecating in lake” was printed with a day-glo ink on the white area. Fluorescent inks fade away much faster than standard ones.
Lakeside Inn– Piss in our beautiful blue waters and pinch a loaf on our sandy beaches. The Earth is your toilet at Lakeside Inn!
I spoke with a man from Jinan, China. He said that a lot of people pee and poop all around the lake, so the sign is letting you know that it happens.
