Where’s that smell coming from?

posted on 14 Nov 2008 in Almost Engrish, Fun Pics

I originally posted this as an Engrish of the Day recently and it received a really low ranking. I am guessing that it was poorly received because it is more an unfortunate spelling than actual Engrish. I still find it hilarious.

Guessing it is from Chinatown in Vancouver, Canada.

This is pretty funny to me, too. No more or less juvenile than a lot of the poopie-boobie EotD’s we get that are 4.8+ :)

    Honestly, I don’t get it.

Judging by the name, he must have worked for Arthur Anderson.

I wouldn’t pay that much attention to the rankings. Some of my favourite Engrish photos on this site have got low rankings.

The Chinese sign is very common in downtown Chinatown in Toronto and these signs kinda look authentic because it reminds me of home, Hong Kong.

I think it may be more funny to us folks over in england because i think phew as a word for a stinky bad smell is more an english thing than an american thing. hope everyone had a great xmas! :-)
