National Punctuation Day
Today is National Punctuation Day which I am sure is an excellent cause for those anal about proper, placement, of, commas. My only concern is that as many overzealous Americans tend to do, they are extending themselves waaayy too far and are heading off to China with their Punctuation Playtime® program.
Why can’t these people just leave well enough alone? It’s not like I am that threatened - there are a billion non-native English speakers in China so policing the entire country would be impossible. But why deprive us of ANY Engrish?
We have so many punctuation errors that need to be addressed here in America. I say we need to take care of our own first.
Look at the innocent children. So much hope in their eyes. So much potential for Engrish.com….

Much love is at here. Thank you for you!
Punctuation is, easy to do? Why do’ they need: to have? a day; to de’vote to it”
Slightly more popular event than Spacebar Appreciation Week.
International Spacebar! *i’d tap that*
Does it promote the “&”? Let’s “&”! No longer “and”!
Oh ja….the guys in England also need some visits from the “spelling Nazis”, too. I was amazed by the typos that some of the British bloggers make.
Hmmm….could this be an effort by China as a response to your Engrish site?
